About Out of the Way of Fair Pay

The Out of the Way of Fair Pay campaign is a collaboration between I Am Progress, the advocacy arm of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, and MomsRising.org, a campaign to build a more family-friendly America. The Fair Pay campaign is designed to help build awareness about the continuing wage gap and to help supporters advance pay equity proposals by removing opposition to common-sense reform.

About I Am Progress

i am progress logoMovements don’t start in political parties--they take ‘em over. Conservatives built a well-funded, well-connected movement over the past three decades, a movement grounded in a clearly articulated conservative world view that has dominated our country for far too long. It is time for the next progressive movement to turn the tables and drive political change in this country. I Am Progress is helping fuel the next progressive movement.  I Am Progress is the advocacy arm of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, the sister advocacy organization of the Center for American Progress<.

About MomsRising

i am progress logo MomsRising.org is working to bring together millions of people who share a common concern about the need to build a more family-friendly America. Started in May of 2006, MomsRising.org has gained over 150,000 citizen members and is rapidly growing. More than 85 national and state organizations have signed on to be aligned with MomsRising.org.

Our members are bringing important motherhood and family issues to the forefront of the country's awareness. We are working to create both cultural and legislative change. It is time to break the logjam that has been holding back family-friendly legislation for decades and to advance workplace policies that will support families.

MomsRising.org offers easy entry into citizen advocacy and is bringing the power of online organizing to motherhood and family issues.
